About Eight Petals

Eight Petals is a European based Floral Studio purely inspired by the owner’s Hungarian heritage. The company is a locally owned flower business that newly demonstrates a unique touch to floral art. The company strives to provide a full experience with customized flower gifts available for any occasion or event. The owner Kati Szep is a home-based florist with 20+ years of experience in the floral industry. She takes inspiration from what she has gradually observed from various cultural practices, primarily focusing on Eastern (Ikebana) and Western styles (European and American). Overall, she is a passionate and hard-working designer, that finds her passion in her strong Hungarian roots. Kati’s ongoing mission is to make a difference in people’s lives. Through working with people with disabilities for the most part of her career, she has gained the understanding of what it means to live fully and to bring joy wherever it is needed. With her flowers, she hopes to accomplish the same; helping to heal and bring happiness to whoever may receive them.
